Three levels
The LEGIO path guides practitioners from personal improvement to the ability to teach, lead and eventually train other instructors.
Every level requires technical competence, teaching ability and conduct consistent with the LEGIO Method. Progression is not automatic: it depends on demonstrated preparation and assessment by the LEGIO team.

Learn to observe.
The first step is not only about learning new techniques. The Candidate begins to understand the LEGIO Method, observe movement, recognize errors and pass on what they know under supervision.
Anyone who meets the requirements stated for an available event may register directly, without a preliminary application.
At the end of the path and after passing the examination, you will be able to assist a qualified instructor, demonstrate the required fundamentals, observe students and contribute to the class under supervision.
The Instructor Candidate qualification does not automatically authorize you to open a LEGIO TEAM or use the brand independently.
The next step depends on completing the path, passing the examination and assessment of the preparation demonstrated.
Level 1: direct registration for available events; the place is confirmed only after successful payment.
Direct access to Level 2: application, technical documentation, any discipline-specific assessment and approval before any payment.
Level 3: application and individual assessment; no automatic access or payment.
Participation in training, passing the examination, achieving the qualification, using the brand and opening a LEGIO TEAM are separate steps. Private links are sent only to the authorized person at the appropriate stage.
MMA programs and fees
The Instructor Candidate path is for people with real experience in combat sports. Level 1 registration is direct and the place is confirmed after successful payment.

The kit contains the same items for every level, with distinctive colors for clothing, bag and covers:
Manuals, notebooks and teaching documents are handed over personally in printed form on site, before the relevant session begins. They are not offered as public downloads.
The role of the Academy
LEGIO Academy supports technical development through videos, review and in-depth study. It complements the manuals, gym practice and discussion with the instructor.
The LEGIO Academy subscription is separate and is not included in the course fee.
Information common to all paths
Sessions are led by Alessio Sakara or by a Master authorized by him.
The stated hours include theory, practice and assessments; breaks are additional.
Individual study, training and teaching practice take place between sessions and are recorded in the notebooks.
Durations are indicative. Admission to the examination and progression to the next level depend on technical preparation, teaching ability and demonstrated responsibility.
The durations and fees shown on this page apply exclusively to the MMA path. For Striking, Grappling and Performance, they will be defined when the respective training programs are launched.
Level 1 access
The LEGIO Instructor Candidate program is intended for people with at least three years of practical experience in combat sports.
Level 1 does not require a preliminary application: choose an available event, complete registration and the place is confirmed after successful payment.
Instructor Candidates — how the program works
The program includes two in-person training sessions, a period of guided preparation between stages and a final examination. The estimated overall duration is between 6 and 10 months.

Led by Alessio Sakara or by an authorized LEGIO Master. During the first session, the candidate receives the official kit and study manual.

The candidate continues training and studying with the manual, the program’s main reference. LEGIO Academy may also be used as visual support. The second session is generally held after 4–6 months and is preceded by a scheduled technical assessment with Alessio Sakara or a LEGIO Master.

Six effective training hours, excluding any breaks, approximately 4–6 months after the first session and subject to verification of technical preparation. Participation is limited to candidates who completed the first session and received confirmation of eligibility from LEGIO. Fee: second instalment of €250.

After the second session, the path continues through the study of the manuals, technical practice, and in-depth review of LEGIO Academy videos. The examination takes place approximately after a further 2–4 months, subject to verification of preparation with Alessio Sakara or an authorized LEGIO Master.

Timing: approximately 2–4 months after the second session
Access is permitted only after confirmation of eligibility by LEGIO. The examination fee is €90. Payment does not automatically guarantee a pass: the result depends on LEGIO’s technical and teaching assessment.
After passing, the relevant certificate and the operational manual specified in the path will be issued; the manual is supplied in printed form.
Level 2 and 3 assessment

The LEGIO team will review the application and normally reply within 2–3 business days. If needed, a short introductory interview may be requested.

If your application is approved, you will receive an email with the date, program, course address, participation conditions, the full form to fill in and a secure payment link.

Registration for the selected path will be confirmed after the application has been approved and the first instalment has been received.
This procedure applies to direct access to Level 2 and to Level 3. No payment link is sent before official approval.
