03 — Method

The LEGIO Method

Train the body, the technique and the mind.

The five phases form a shared and recognizable structure for LEGIO teaching. Exercises, difficulty and intensity are adapted to the discipline, preparation and goals of the participants.

Sporting stoicism accompanies the practice: focusing on what we can control, facing adversity with clarity and taking responsibility for our own effort.

Lesson structure

The 5 phases of the lesson

The five phases are introduced at Level 1, learned in their delivery at Level 2 and developed further through the training of other instructors at Level 3.

01

Warm-up

Prepare

Prepare the body and focus attention on the objective of the lesson.

02

Technique

Understand and build

Study the movements, understand their purpose and improve their execution.

03

Work

Put into practice

Put what has been studied into practice through progressive drills.

04

Physical and mental endurance

Stay clear under fatigue

Train effort management while maintaining clarity, control and quality of movement.

05

Stoic cool-down

Recover and reflect

Gradually return to calm and address the theme of the day together with the LEGIO lead. Discipline, respect, consistency and emotional management are connected to the training experience and to a concrete commitment in daily life.

I

Discipline

Doing what is required consistently, even after the initial impulse is gone.

II

Responsibility

Recognizing what depends on us and acting without excuses.

III

Adversity

Staying clear under pressure, breaking down the problem, choosing the next step.

IV

Application

Bringing the method into training, work and relationships.

A decision-making standard, not a slogan.

Conduct makes visible the work done when no one is watching.

Practice

Know the method through practice.
