LEGIO TEAM 2.0

Your expertise, inside a system.

LEGIO TEAM 2.0 is the evolution of the project: it recognizes each technician’s real skills and organizes them into coherent specializations, within a national network.

You don’t need to know how to do everything. You need to do well what you teach.

Do you want to enter the world of combat sports, but your real expertise is in a specific discipline?

You might be a striking expert without a complete grounding in ground fighting. You might have years of grappling experience without being a stand-up technician. Or you might be a strength and conditioning coach able to improve athletes’ strength, conditioning and endurance.

LEGIO TEAM 2.0 was created to recognize and develop these real skills. There is no need to present yourself as an expert in every area. You start from what you truly know, study the LEGIO Method and build a path consistent with your specialization:

MMA, for the complete multidisciplinary path;
Striking, for stand-up fighting;
Grappling, for wrestling and ground fighting;
Performance, for athletic preparation, strength and endurance.

Each specialization can become an autonomous reality connected to the LEGIO TEAM network, after training, technical assessment and official approval.

Three levels

Three levels. Increasing responsibility.

The LEGIO path guides practitioners from personal improvement to the ability to teach, lead and eventually train other instructors.

Every level requires technical competence, teaching ability and conduct consistent with the LEGIO Method. Progression is not automatic: it depends on demonstrated preparation and assessment by the LEGIO team.

A multidisciplinary path integrating striking, standing wrestling and ground fighting.

Learn to observe.

The first step is not only about learning new techniques. The Candidate begins to understand the LEGIO Method, observe movement, recognize errors and pass on what they know under supervision.

Who can start

Anyone who meets the requirements stated for an available event may register directly, without a preliminary application.

What you will be able to do

At the end of the path and after passing the examination, you will be able to assist a qualified instructor, demonstrate the required fundamentals, observe students and contribute to the class under supervision.

The Instructor Candidate qualification does not automatically authorize you to open a LEGIO TEAM or use the brand independently.

How progression works

The next step depends on completing the path, passing the examination and assessment of the preparation demonstrated.

Level 1: direct registration for available events; the place is confirmed only after successful payment.

Direct access to Level 2: application, technical documentation, any discipline-specific assessment and approval before any payment.

Level 3: application and individual assessment; no automatic access or payment.

Participation in training, passing the examination, achieving the qualification, using the brand and opening a LEGIO TEAM are separate steps. Private links are sent only to the authorized person at the appropriate stage.

Entry into a network of instructors, masters, specialists and LEGIO TEAM facilities across Italy, with opportunities for exchange and collaboration.

Continuous updating

Access to seminars, courses, workshops and technical meetings organized by Alessio Sakara, LEGIO masters and invited champions or professionals.

Dedicated conditions

Members of the network can access reserved conditions on seminars, update courses and events indicated by LEGIO TEAM. Reserved conditions apply only to partnered or LEGIO TEAM-indicated events.

Recognizable identity

After official approval, the option to use the name, brand and visual identity related to one’s specialization, in compliance with LEGIO TEAM guidelines.

Visibility in the network

Inclusion of the authorized location in the official LEGIO TEAM directory and opportunity to be presented through network channels.

Opening support

Initial guidance on the location’s identity, communicating the path and organizing LEGIO TEAM activities.

Quality standards

Periodic updates and reviews to maintain consistent teaching quality and protect the credibility of all locations.

Events and collaborations

The possibility to join gatherings, shared training sessions, cross-location seminars and initiatives organized within the LEGIO TEAM network.

Corner shop and reserved conditions

Authorized LEGIO TEAM locations may request the activation of a corner shop inside their gym, offering their students technical equipment and products dedicated to preparation and recovery. Through Alessio Sakara's collaborations, locations may access dedicated commercial conditions on LEONE 1947 products for gloves, protection, apparel and technical equipment, and Tsunami Nutrition products for supplementation and sports nutrition. Corner activation and reserved conditions will be defined according to available agreements, the location's requirements and approval by the respective partners.

Opening a LEGIO TEAM requires Level 2, passing the examination and approval by Alessio Sakara. Direct access to Level 2 is subject to application and assessment and is never guaranteed.
